I think when a pack of British boys goes into a bar called Crickets and asks for “the game” they think they’re going to get that England v. Wales cricket showdown. They’re terribly disappointed when they get Texas v. Texas Tech football, but are too embarassed at their mistake to do anything but stay and eat the mozzarella sticks.
Rob with Taylor Swift is my favorite mental image of the day. She’d decidde there was no chemistry, but would still get some glitter on his flannel. They have a designated area outside! If you go outside of the city, you can smoke anywhere inside any building, just not in Lville.

I’m a student at Texas Tech, and when I heard the news I was already in bed…but I looked up and saw my Rob calendar and thought “How can I pass this up?!” I seriously thought my friends and I would be the only girls to show up, but holy shit was I wrong! All these sorostitutes were calling him Edward and I just wanted to knock em out! I swear I was the only one there that night for Rob, not some fictional character. I feel like I failed my duty as a Robsessed but I couldn’t have gotten in if I tried…they closed the bar to everyone at like 11:30. But he had been there since 5, completely unnoticed! He did look like a lumberjack, so maybe that was the problem.
Anyway, I’m sorry on behalf of Lubbock for letting ya’ll down! If I had been in one of those waitresses’s shoes, I would’ve been all over it…literally 😉

I love that no one recognized him for hours! Must be nice for him not to be mobbed for once. Although I’m sorry you didn’t get to see him, you seem like you would have been nice and chill.
I get a little sad when Rob leaves LA. Ironically, when he’s here, I do nothing about it. *shrugs* Oh well…
PS: You know what’s worse than having no Robdreams? Having Robdreams almost every night and NOT remembering them…at all! Drives me bonkers cause I know I did but can’t remember for the life of me. 🙁

The one thing I get out of this road trip, is, if random girls in Lubbock, Texas, got to be in the same bar as him without even trying, then there’s still hope I could run into him someday too. Hope springs eternal.

(TomStu, Sam and Big Bobby Long) to partay! Strip joints and bars galore on Bourbon St.

Girls, the real reason Rob went to Lubbock on Labor Day weekend is to experience opening day of dove season. Clearly he wanted to dress in all camo, drink Shiner at 8 am, get tasered by the cop that showed up to shoot him some, dye his hair green cuz all the kids are doin’ it, have a bacon-wrapped bird he shot himself & scream, “If it flies, it dies!!!!!”

ok, yeah i’m a reader not a writer except for one time i wrote in trying to stick up for kstew. later i realized you were all just a bunch of silly, sarcastic, HILARIOUS girls and i just didn’t get it….yet! i still love kstew and maybe that makes me not the best fan, but i do love me some rob!
anyhoo….i had to write again today to thank you for bringing me back to the same old addicted feeling i have shared with you for all things rob and twilight. i have missed reading this every day even though i understand the slow down! i hope rob keeps making road-trip appearances so uc and moon will contiune to break it down!! i just love laughing out loud then having to make something up as to what i was laughing about and quickly minimize the screen before someone catches on to my “normal” habits! to quote a SNL skit, “is that bad??!”
so one of today’s many laugh out loud, minimize screen moments: “sometimes you get one (microwaved cheese stick) and it’s still a little frozen inside- but after a swallow of the high life it’s all good!” gonna have to hit the grocery store and pick up some of the high life! it will help me reminice the old college days and make me feel one with rob! can’t wait to explain to my husband why i stopped to pick up a six pack of MGD light!
