Dear Rob,
Ya know how we do Monday Funnies over at LTT (cause you read that, duh)? Well, it’s Friday and everyone’s tired from the week, 3/4ths of LA has emptied out to head to Coachella, UC has left me for somewhere I can’t pronounce, and the rest of Roblandia is in NYC for your premiere, so I’m here… alone… looking for a laugh or ten… So let’s have some Friday Funnies, shall we?
This killed me and I know it’s Edward Cullen but most of the world thinks you’re the same person so why not post it here?
All of this is a big YES. Let’s just sub out Edward for Rob and it’s pretty much all still true.

That Chippendale’s pic is horrendous. The face fits perfectly however lol. If Rob was a Chippendale dancer, I would actually pass on the opportunity to see him dancing around in practically nothing-the second-hand embarrassment would be so great that all the blood in my body would rush to my face and I would probably have an aneurysm. Besides which Rob has admitted he can’t dance, so dancing and stripping would definitely be a stretch for him.
It’s okay: we will applaud wildly, just as long as he stands on his two feet and takes his clothes off!

Can’t wait! I heard “A Winter’s Tale” on the radio this morning!! So Rob, what are the odds that you’re in LA? hmmm, let’s think about this….. BD filming is over (hip, hip, hurray!), you don’t have to be in NY until Sunday. You probably have to see Stephanie and sign contracts, etc. So, a trip to LA is not out totally out of the realm of possibilities. And Rob, if you had to come to LA anyway, you really should be supporting your friends, so a quick little trip to hear Bobby sing should really be on your schedule. Check with Steph. Maybe she already penciled it in. (Just so you recognize us, we’ll be a group of hot women with at least 2 of us turned into stone statues and on the floor drooling.)

It is definitely hard to beat the Rob Chippendale’s manip. I’ve admittedly tried to picture Rob naked before, but my image and that photo aren’t even remotely similar (though maybe the black gloves & PVC cuffs will make a future fantasy appearance). Reminds me of a tweet poor CW received the other day – some woman asked him why he didn’t shave Rob’s chest (or CGI shave him) for the shirtless scene in New Moon. She noted that the entire theater all gasped in horror after being exposed to his chest hair (guess I wasn’t in that audience).
ha I remember the big to-do over his chest hair. Was this woman in a theater full of 12 year olds? Chest hair is normal (and sexy) and Rob isn’t exactly Chewbacca, so what’s the big deal?
If you’ve seen the pics of Rob swimming in his skivvies then you have a pretty good idea of what he looks like (almost)naked. Nope, nothing like the Chippendales guy. But perfect to me.
The CW tweeter must have been on the younger side. I cannot imagine CW wanting to CGI off Rob’s chest hair, either. But yet, a lot of woman seem to want that? There is this one True Blood promo shot of Alexander Skarsgard in bed and they removed his body hair, including his pit hair. When it was released, so many fans were swooning…but I couldn’t get over the lack of pit hair. Alexander Skarsgard has a nice body but his face does nothing for me. He’s almost too built for me- I have a thing for thin guys who aren’t too muscley and Rob is pretty much my ideal. I also *gasp* like armpit hair-see the pic in this article about, what else, Rob’s armpit hair and how squicked out ppl are by it.

this thing with the armpit hair makes me wonder-do these girls/women who are squicked out by it also loathe pubes? Would they be shocked to see them on Rob? The happy trail is one of the best things on a guy (leading down to probably THE best thing) and it would look lonely and kinda funny without any chest hair/pubes to accompany it. As the article says, real men aren’t made like ken dolls.
speaking of chesy hair they’ve even dyed that orange, summit have a lot to answer for!

I think Rob is pretty much my ideal. not too much muscle and not too much hair, but I do see the shock of being confronted with a supposedly smooth marble Edward-chest – with a smattering of chest hair and a happy trail! Stephenie led us all to believe that Edward was a walking marble statue so I guess that was just a little bit too…real? Reality, however, is always better, as long as it’s Rob-flavoured!
I will NEVER understand women who don’t like body hair on a man. That is one of the wonderful things that makes a man, a MAN.

Sometimes I think TomStu’s wardrobe is even more limited than Rob’s. That sweater (jumper) and the duckie sweater both seem to be on high rotation.
And I’m glad TomStu seems to enjoy doing legitimate theater (theatre), cuz it really gives an actor some major credibility, at least IMHO.
I just came back from the opening of WFE, me and a smattering of teenage girls and a few men, who had obviously been dragged there by a loved one of the opposite sex, and I enjoyed it as the opening of my weekend…I mean what could possibly be wrong with watching that face for two hours?
The movie was a 3 out of 5, but I would like to see Rob do something Completely Different, just to know his capacity for acting: maybe Cosmopolis will be it?

I was there too! It was a sweet movie (loved Tai) and like you MC, I am now longing to see Rob doing something else to show off his caliber as an actor. No more PG 13, at least for a while…… He did look beautiful though, especially when he puts on that brown leather jacket……..I have a thing for Rob in that jacket!!!!!!

I saw your friend Bobby last night. I know you aren’t aware of this fact since you didn’t show up. But he is amazing! Even with having no voice 4hrs before. But I do have one question for you. Did you school Bobby in the ways of the word vomit because he’s pretty good at it too. In fact, why am I writing this to you?

You were amazing last night! (jealous yet, Rob) And thanks for all the fun stories in between. We loved them! Sorry about those girls yelling the whole time. That wasn’t us. We were just thankful that you calmed the audience down before a fight broke out. Anyways, I enjoyed it immensely!

He was word vomitting like no other. Didn’t he say he was the most open that night? Lol He was really funny. And those loud girls, I swear. Smh I was like “Please no girl fights, please…”
He REALLY looked like Art when he played the harmonica and the guitar with his long hair in his face. That was AWESOME! His facial expressions were a little weird at times (looked like his “o” face). But I guess that’s what good musicians do when they get “into” it. That sounds dirty. Nvmd.
You guys were super fun! Loooooved it. π
He has a great voice, doesn’t he? Wish I could have been there to witness him being the most open, the girl fights, and O faces. Sigh. To console myself, I watched a bunch of Twilight parodies on YouTube last night. Other guys trying to play serious Edward are always worth a laugh, even if the parody script sucks. And if you want to start up a Letters to Other Talented Brit Dudes, I’m in.
p.s. due to the conversation above re: men & hair loss, I now have targeted advertisements on this page for Gillette Fusion Proglide and No!No!No! Hair removal system (with photo of man trying to remove hair from his chest). Gotta love it.

Your show last night was fantastic. It was hard to believe that you lit’rally had no voice just a few hours before the show because you sounded terrific. Loved the songs. Loved the guitar. Don’t know which I loved more – the O faces or the mouth vomit – both were superb. All and all – A+++ for the evening.
Dear Rob:
OK, so you were a no show. I inderstand. You have more important stuff to do like picking out your outfit for the premiere tomorrow. But my real issue with you is this: Why, after all this time, did you finally appear in my dreams last night as a sad panda, sneaking out of Bobby’s show with someone who people are saying is your mother but who looks a lot like like that obnoxious british woman who was giving that poor girl who opened for Bobby a hard time? And so far away from me, that I couldn’t get to you? This is NOT the nocturnal appearance that I’ve been waiting for.
RFM & Ros: It was great to meet you and hang out. We’ll have to do again.
Oh Maggie, sorry about the not-quite-hot Rob dream. If it makes you feel better, Rob’s cell phone made an appearance in my dream last night. I was at a multiplex theater and was told by one of the staff there that Rob was in one of the theaters, but he could not tell me which one. So I had to go to theater to theater, looking for him, but I ended up getting lost and could not find my way out. I kept going up and down escalators and elevators and ending up in the same dark hallway. Pretty creepy. I heard Rob talking but when I turned the corner he wasn’t there, though he had dropped his cell phone. I picked it up and Tai was his background image. How sweet is that. OK, no Rob, but he was in my dream (though not visible) and I did get to see his cell phone and hear his voice. Which at least is something?
Nat, when you said he’s phone I was hoping you meant…but you lit’rally meant his phone π
BTW, searching the interwebs for said “phone” it was nowhere to be found. Did it really exist? I have the pictures on my laptop to prove it!
Oh Maggie, I’ve had dreams that aren’t that great but were better because he was at least IN them! And it could have been worse. I’ve had dreams with a guest apperance and it wasnt’ his fake mum. I think that mum thing was my fault, for joking around that it was his mum. Sorry!

I think you might have just left. My friend was waiting to talk to Leslie and this lady was telling her how she shouldn’t do that Smiths song. Apparently, it wasn’t a good song for her. I jokingly said, hey that British lady is Rob’s mom. Of course it wasn’t. Clare would never be so uncouth!
