Dear LTR gals-
We usually have our little Eddie days on Sunday… but this week I thought I’d “send a postcard” and say I’m sorry for not being around more but “THE MAN” is demanding that I be in Chicago for a few days for some work thing or whatever. I’ll have you know though that Little Edward has been keeping me company on this trip, doing a tad bit of sight seeing, eating deep dish pizza with me till I wanted to puke… riding in cabs, the whole nine… You’ll see little Edwards Chicago trip soon enough! Have no fear though I will be back in full effect soon enough and back to LA just in time for the release party and to live it up with UC. You think I could be anywhere but in LA or with UC for the DVD release? YEA RIGHT!

@Sass -The reason I asked (about The Vampire Diaries) is that I started reading it but just could not get in to. Had to give it back to my sis. I’m reading a new YA book right now called Evermore by Alyson Noel (The Immortals). It’s really good so far. Glad you menioned that authors name again Sass (Melissa Merr) I’m going to look into that.
Evermore is also on my list Gen…glad to hear it is good! The Melissa Marr books, Wicked Lovely and Ink Exchange, are outstanding, IMO. If you read them, let me know what you think! I am sorry you didn’t like Vampire Diaries though, I am enjoying it!
Maybe I’ll go back to it- next book on my list is the new P.C Cast & Kristin Cast ‘Hunted’ and ‘Wonderous Strange’ by Leslie Livingston. Just came out.
The funny thing about the Vampire Diaries, is that the first few stories were written in 1991…and some of the similarities to Twilight are amazing. For instance, the one vampire brother has given up hunting humans and only hunts animals. And he can read minds.

The Melissa Marr books, about faeries, see my post above, I enjoyed them better, even though they are considered YA, the material and the style I found to be a bit more adult.

um..I totally printed it off and read it. Ole copy and paste is exactly what I did. I even three hole punched it so I could put O rings through it like a real book. And I made a cover using markers and such……okay. I’ll stop there before I completely embarrass myself!
I read it. Awesome. I also read at same to I read Twilight. It really added to my reading.

I also recently finished Need by Carrie Jones, a book about pixies. Easy read, not my favorite, but still enjoyable.
Got an email back RE: HTB in Tallahassee. The lady said that you can only get tickets at the door (cash only) on a first come, first served basis. They obviously do NOT have ANY understanding of the problem they are going to encounter…

I think I am going to order it and choose the fast shipping. I just need it by April 4th. I am supplying the DVD for a party as well that day. I don’t NEED it the day it comes out because I have this site and all of you and your youtube goodness. A few days won’t kill me but I need to have it before the 4th!!!

I think the next book I’m going to read that’s non Twilight related I’m going to feel really sad that it’s not Twilight….therefore I think I’m just going to re-read the series over and over. I want to re-read the first one again anyway but it’s gonna be hard to move on I think, LOL!
I’m so jealous- Have read each book about 5-6 times. Keep starting something else and then going back to the Twilight series (that’s how good they are)! I would love to have read the series only once and then start all over again! Envy you!
(I can kinda compare it to The Matrix (1st one of course)- I thought to myself how are they ever going to top an action movie like this one- and IMO they haven’t) Second time- even better than the first!

Phil, a guy in my office, admitted he read Twilight. He said he got all the way through the fight scene in Eclipse before he “couldn’t take it anymore” (in reference to SMeyer’s unique style of prose).
