Dear Rob,
Moon & I call discussions like the one we’re about to have: “breaking it down vanity fair style” b/c we started the blog after breaking down the vanity fair vid (the 1 hour one) like it was a work of art (it was).
Last week we saw that Robsessed had posted this amazing .gif of you kissing Kristen at the prom scene. I don’t think I breathed the entire time I watched it. Moon & I decided it was necessary to call our gals to convene immediately to break down that kiss b/c .. well, DUH.. it was necessary for survival… We texted and e-mailed till we found everyone and then actually went all 14-year-old-girl on you and had a “group chat” on google-talk. Here is how it went:
Friend #1: Umm…Rob is the shiz. The end
Moon: and done!
Friend #1: just kidding…I have a list of things to discuss
Friend #2: that’s my fave kiss in the movie… the first one was hot, but NOT edward and bellaish. prom was totally edward and bellish.
Moon: which one shall we start with? How about the slow .gif?
Friend #2: too slow for me… i am not a fan of extended foreplay.
Moon: give it a second i think it builds up
UC: builds up- orgasm style
Friend #2: nope…not a fan of that either. i’m like a man.
UC: ur right moon- she has a flat mouth (notice how we ignored crazy Friend #2)
Moon: can we talk about how much of a dead fish kristen is??
UC: Moon and I believe that is b/c she was afraid to put real feeling and emotion into the kiss- thinking that Michael Oregano will notice and realize that she and Rob DID IT on his hotel suite’s kitchen floor.. the night before
Friend #2: she is a COLD dead fish.
Moon: it’s like a straight line, NO pucker at allFriend #1: I am half pretending to work…and love Rob. The two can’t be combined

You remember that post you guys made about the screenshot of him kissing Kristen? Yeah, I’m still disturbed by it, but now I think I know why it was so bad. It’s HER fault! After analyzing the mini video above, I noticed that she barely opens her mouth. That in turn causes him to have to smash his lips into her face, thus the weird looking kisses. So my point is: although that .gif seems really nice and cool, it’s not as hot as it could be because she ruined it.

Hey there! I have been trying desperately to get out of my house and to my office, and I told myself at 9:30AM (yes, 2 hours ago), that I would NOT log onto LTR, but here I am and late as usual. I’m not gonna say much now, but just want to chime in about the kiss.
As much as I love the “don’t move” (might be my favorite line actually), I adore the prom scene and song. The slow mo kiss is amazing and I think I love the hand behind her neck the best. Agreed that RP got the Edward vibe so much. I’m crossing my fingers for New Moon and actually really wishing the best of luck to KStew cuz she has got some HUGE shoes to fill (perhaps of the shiteous Nike variety) since our boy won’t have enough screen time.

Oh yeah, two more quick ones:
1. Had to laugh at Friend #1 or #2 (can’t remember) loving the “push against the mountain” scene. I totally brought this up in the late night posting last night as one of the most AWKWARD scenes for me. The idea of the “lean” is swoon worthy, but I thought it looked contrived and uncomfortable. I really wish it had been that perfect delicious lean we all want to have with him.
2. Did anyone notice how much taller the guy at Walmart was next to Rob? It is the first time that Rob hasn’t looked like the tallest one around. Too funny!

We talked earlier about Rob not getting laid in NYC, and I thought the original article had him walking out with the girl, but I guess not. Just him and his beer.

Yes, twihards, yes. He’s a beautiful boy. But …beautiful to the point of androgyny? This is my problem I think with Robert Pattinson. He’s gorgeous. I get it. But I can’t picture him having sex. Not sure if he can picture himself having sex.

My friend, who is vaguely aware of my Robsession and very judgemental (unlike all you dolls) saw this picture and had a small change of heart. She admitted that he was f*ck me hot and wouldn’t mind waking up to that.
